Season Ends for Young Saturday, August 25th, 2018 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Carolina's Kyle Young to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/24/2018 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Young said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Young has been out of action since he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. This year Kyle Young has been credited with 15 saves. In 36 relief appearances and 40 innings pitched, he has a 1-6 won-lost mark, 3.60 ERA and 34 strikeouts |
