Sandoval Raps Frederick for 5 Hits Saturday, August 25th, 2018 5 times is the charm -- at least for Ariel Sandoval. The Fort Myers Miracle right fielder tore up the Frederick Keys to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Harry Grove Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Sandoval powered the Miracle to a 21-7 win. "Sandoval was a tough out today," Frederick manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ariel Sandoval doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 8th. This year Sandoval has batted at a .374 pace with 170 hits, 11 home runs, 103 RBIs and scored 113 times. |
