Vizcaino Jr. Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 27th, 2018 Jose Vizcaino Jr. is respected by most Wilmington Blue Rocks fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the American Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .818 average (9-for-11) with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year Vizcaino Jr. has 10 home runs and a .324 batting average. |
