NC's #1 Player Named Monday, August 27th, 2018 So far in his young career, Austin Riley has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Florida Fire Frogs third baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season Riley has hit .394 with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and scored 30 times. |
