No Comeback This Season for Hanifee Monday, September 3rd, 2018 Obviously disappointed, Brenan Hanifee confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Visalia reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 20-year-old Hanifee suffered a torn labrum on 08/31/2018 and has been out of action since. This season Hanifee has made 20 relief appearances, recorded 5 saves and compiled a 4-5 won-lost mark and a 4.30 ERA. In pitching 60.2 innings, he has totaled 47 strikeouts and 27 walks. |
