Marlins Lose to Nationals, 4-1
|
The Washington Nationals picked up a win at Nationals Park, knocking off the Miami Marlins, 4-1. Starting pitcher Alex Reyes was an essential part of his team's success. The Nationals bumped their record to 31-23 with this latest triumph.
Aaron Hicks, who is tied for 7th in the NL with a .919 OPS, chipped in for Washington with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
