Braves Edge Nationals, 3-2
|
The Atlanta Braves racked up a win at SunTrust Park, bumping off the Washington Nationals, 3-2. Miles Mikolas, who started for Atlanta, pitched effectively for his team. Atlanta has now won 3 in a row.
Miguel Sano aided the Atlanta cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman did the little things right to help the team.
"I liked his command," said Atlanta manager Tyler Rumpel. "Miles was throwing strikes."
