It was a fun time at Target Field, where the Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins tangled.

The Minnesota Twins picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Kansas City Royals, 8-3. Starting pitcher Matt Harvey played a key role in the triumph. With the win, the Twins have a record of 31-37.

An important at-bat for the Twins came in the bottom of the first, when third baseman Maikel Franco stroked a 3-run home run. That made the score 4-0 in favor of Minnesota. For the day, Franco went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

In postgame comments, Franco told the Minnesota Daily News: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
