Texas got a strong outing from Jose Quintana as the Rangers defeated the Cleveland Indians, 3-2, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Will Harris converted his 23rd save in 24 tries. Texas goes to 48-25. The win puts them 6 games up in their division.

Greg Allen had a big run-scoring double for the Rangers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Texas leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a changeup from Domingo German and stroked the double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Allen. "And not try to do too much."
