San Francisco right-hander Anthony DeSclafani made an effective start against the Colorado Rockies at AT&T Park, leading his team to a 6-1 win. DeSclafani, the winner, moves to 4-8. He threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up no walks. The 'W' lifts San Francisco's record to 33-46.
The Giants grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Kyle Seager hit a 3-run home run off Anibal Sanchez, putting San Francisco in front, 4-0. For Seager, it was his 11th home run of the season.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Seager told the San Francisco Gazette.
