Red Sox Get Road Win, 4-2
|
The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Rogers Centre, knocking off the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-2. Starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The third-place Red Sox have won 4 consecutive games.
Boston used the bat of Jackie Bradley Jr. to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Red Sox ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"The vibe's good," said Boston manager Matt Spencer. "We've got to keep it going."
