Extra-Inning Win by Rockies over Reds
The Colorado Rockies topped the Cincinnati Reds, 7-2, with catcher Nick Ciuffo playing a big role. Ciuffo went 2 for 7 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Rockies in the win. Reliever Jorge De La Rosa picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. Daniel Norris took the loss. The last-place Rockies improved to 41-66.

Colorado used the timely hitting of Pablo Sandoval to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 15th inning to put the Rockies on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Ciuffo.
