Salazar Dazzles in Cincinnati Win
|
The Cincinnati Reds went home winners at Great American Ball Park, thanks in large part to starter Danny Salazar. Salazar silenced the Pittsburgh Pirates, enabling Cincinnati to grab the 4-1 win. Pittsburgh has now lost 4 in a row.
Salazar earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Cincinnati. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 8. Pittsburgh hitters had little success against him.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Salazar. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
