Phillies Lose, 7-3, at Chase Field
|
The Arizona Diamondbacks topped the Philadelphia Phillies, 7-3, in National League action at Chase Field. The player of the game was Arizona pitcher and Cartagena, Colombia native Julio Teheran. The Diamondbacks now have a record of 49-64.
The Diamondbacks got a big at-bat from catcher Francisco Mejia. For the game, Mejia was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 20th double of the season gave Arizona a 3-2 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Mejia told the Arizona Today.
