Red Sox Come Back Late to Clip Royals
The Red Sox grabbed a win, 3-2, at Fenway Park, overcoming a fine effort from Kansas City pitcher Kyle Freeland. Freeland went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Red Sox now have a mark of 57-59.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Alex Dickerson came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Kansas City pitcher Silvino Bracho, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 3-2.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Dickerson, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
