Pirates Come Back Late to Top Brewers
|
The Pittsburgh Pirates topped the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-3, with third baseman Jake Lamb playing a big role. Lamb was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks for the Pirates in the win. Pittsburgh is now 48-66.
Jason Kipnis gave Pittsburgh a good at-bat in the bottom of the eighth inning. With a runner on 3rd, he drew a walk to help send Pittsburgh to the win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Kipnis told the Pittsburgh Gazette.
