Cleveland right fielder J.D. Martinez had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Minnesota Twins, 13-2. Cleveland reliever Andrew Heaney picked up the win, upping his record to 8-6. Brandon Waddell absorbed the loss. The Twins, at 45-71, have lost 4 straight games.

It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Marcus Semien, the 28-year old shortstop . Semien contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Cleveland up, 4-0.
