Giants Walk Off with 3-2 Win
|
The Giants grabbed a win, 3-2, at AT&T Park, overcoming a fine effort from Arizona pitcher Freddy Peralta. Peralta went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. San Francisco reliever Diego Castillo picked up the win to move to 3-5. Jandel Gustave suffered the loss. San Francisco now has a 3-game win streak.
Making an impact for the home team was Miguel Montero. In the bottom of the tenth, the two-time All-Star had a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, Giants.
"This place sure got loud," said James Friederichs, the San Francisco manager.
