Pittsburgh Pirates starter Patrick Corbin had all his pitches working at Coors Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Pittsburgh win over the Colorado Rockies. After today's action, Pittsburgh sits at 56-78, while Colorado falls to 48-87.

Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Jake Lamb to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pirates on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Lamb told the Pittsburgh Gazette.
