Astros Topple Royals with Late Rally
The Astros had to overcome a good performance from Kansas City pitcher Jake Junis to claim a 4-2 win at Kauffman Stadium. Junis went 5.2 innings and allowed no earned runs. Reliever Justin Lawrence picked up the win. His record improves to 7-1. Arodys Vizcaino took the loss. Houston occupies last place in the American League West Division at 61-89.

Houston used the timely hitting of Colin Moran to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Astros on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Moran said.
