The Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox brought some excitement to Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The Boston Red Sox got a good effort from starter Edinson Volquez in defeating the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The final score was 6-2. With the win over Texas, the Red Sox improved to 74-85.

In the top of the seventh, the Red Sox took a 3-1 lead when Albert Pujols hit a run-scoring single.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Boston manager Matt Spencer.
