Dodgers RF Goodwin has 3 hit day in Win
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers stymied the San Francisco Giants, 6-0, at AT&T Park. Brian Goodwin, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Los Angeles. Los Angeles starter Chris Archer was credited with the win after throwing 72 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 12-8. The Dodgers bumped their record to 82-80 with this latest triumph.
Jose Peraza contributed to the Los Angeles win. The 25-year old shortstop stroked a run-scoring triple in the top of the third. For the game, Peraza went 1-5 with a triple.
