Giants Finish Off Dodgers in 12
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers got a superb performance from right fielder Mookie Betts. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Francisco. The Giants won the game, 7-4. In spite of the loss, Betts was named the player of the game. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win lifts San Francisco to a record of 3-4.
Daniel Palka's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from Chris Archer for a run-scoring single. It put San Francisco in front, 4-3.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Palka.
