Cincinnati Reds starter Felix Hernandez was in fine form against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Richard Rodriguez recorded the save for Cincinnati, his 2nd of the season. With their winning streak at 5, the Reds have raced to a strong start this season.

The Reds got a big at-bat from catcher Francisco Cervelli. For the game, Cervelli went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 3-2 lead.
