Mariners Need Extra Frames to Get Past White Sox
The Seattle Mariners got a magnificent effort from pitcher Luis M. Castillo, who kept Chicago hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Mariners win at Guaranteed Rate Field. The White Sox fall to 3-5 and continue their uneasy start to the 2019 season.

Castillo gave Seattle a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Castillo told the Seattle Bulletin.
