Astros Prevail, 3-1, Over Seattle

Houston and Seattle played a hard-fought contest at Safeco Field.
In a well-pitched game between the Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners, pitcher James Paxton was superb. The Houston left-hander was named the player of the game in Houston's 3-1 win. The Astros, now 4-10, have not found much traction so far in 2019.
The result might have been different for Houston, had it not been for Welington Castillo. The designated hitter produced a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Astros ahead, 1-0. For the game, Castillo had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Paxton attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
