Seager Hits 2 home runs in Giants Win
|
San Francisco third baseman Kyle Seager had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 10-6. The win leaves San Francisco with a record of 10-13.
San Francisco needed the clutch hitting of Anthony Rizzo to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Giants on top, 2-0. For the game, Rizzo had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Jesse Vansickle said.
