Blue Jays Sneak Past Angels, 3-2

Toronto and Los Angeles played a hard-fought contest at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
The Toronto Blue Jays took Los Angeles pitcher Kyle Hendricks's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The final score had Toronto getting past the Angels, 3-2. Hendricks went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 3. The win pushes Toronto to a record of 14-15.
Nicholas Castellanos, who led the AL in triples with 10 in 2017, aided the Toronto cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with a double.
Los Angeles manager Steph Villeneuve said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
