Syndergaard Handcuffs Orioles, Indians Seize 2-0 Advantage in LCS
With starter Noah Syndergaard leading the charge, the Cleveland Indians defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 3-1, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. The right-hander threw 7 innings of 1-hit ball at Progressive Field to help Cleveland take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The Orioles had little chance against Syndergaard, who overpowered Baltimore hitters and struck out 11.

"It's a gut punch," Orioles manager Eric S said, "to get here and find ourselves down 0-2 in the blink of an eye."

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th, 2019. The scheduled starters for the game are Collin McHugh for Cleveland and J.A. Happ for Baltimore.
