Toronto Win League Championship Series
|
Fans at Globe Life Park in Arlington saw the League Championship Series come to a close today, as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Texas Rangers by a score of 3-1, and advanced to the World Series.
Toronto won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the World Series.
"It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said center fielder Andrew McCutchen, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far."
The Toronto Blue Jays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers - Washington Nationals series. Washington leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 25th, 2018.
