|
The Washington Nationals have advanced to the World Series, with a 5-1 triumph at Miller Park over the Milwaukee Brewers.
The win sealed a 4-2 series win for Washington.
The series MVP honor went to Nationals third baseman Yulieski Gurriel.
"It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Gurriel said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on."
The Washington Nationals will play against the Toronto Blue Jays in the next round. Toronto won their series against the Texas Rangers 4 games to 1. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 25th, 2018.
