Reds Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus San Francisco
|
The Cincinnati Reds defeated the San Francisco Giants, 7-4, in National League action at AT&T Park. Robinson Cano received player of the game honors. The 15-year veteran went 2-5 with 2 home runs. Richard Rodriguez earned the save, his 13th. With the win, the Reds improved to 22-20.
Francisco Cervelli contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat that helped Cincinnati get the win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Cervelli.
