Pittsburgh Pirates Ship McCutchen to Baltimore Saturday, July 20th, 2019 Done deal! The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to send 32-year-old LF Andrew McCutchen to the Baltimore Orioles for 24-year-old minor league RHP Jonathan Loaisiga, 20-year-old minor league C Miguel Amaya and 25-year-old minor league CF LaMonte Wade. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. This year McCutchen has batted at a .254 pace with 84 hits, 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 43 times. During this season he has made 13 relief appearances, earning a 1-2 record with 1 save. In 36.2 innings Loaisiga has struck out 43 with a 4.17 ERA. |
