Tampa Bay Rays Ship Farmer to Oakland Monday, July 29th, 2019 Tampa Bay and Oakland announced today in a joint press conference that 28-year-old minor league RHP Buck Farmer, 26-year-old minor league LHP Caleb Frare, 26-year-old minor league C Jamie Ritchie and 25-year-old minor league LHP Randy Rosario will be going to the Athletics in exchange for 32-year-old LHP Sean Doolittle. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. Farmer has a lifetime record of 5 wins and 11 losses and a 6.80 ERA. His season stats show Doolittle has 20 saves in 44 relief appearances with a 0-5 mark and 2.54 ERA. |
