Vogt and Kela Suspended 4 Games

During a recent Cleveland-Tampa Bay game at Progressive Field, Stephen Vogt of the Indians and Keone Kela of the Rays got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 4-game suspensions because of their actions.

In his 2019 season totals, Vogt has 12 home runs, .300 BA, .361 OBP, 47 RBIs and 36 runs scored.

Up to this point in the season, Kela has put up these stats: 53 relief appearances, 27 saves, 46.2 IP, 77 strikeouts and 4.63 ERA. His won-lost record is 3-4 with the opposition is hitting .217 against him.
