Hit #2000 for Giants Pedroia Sunday, September 1st, 2019 It took quite a few years to do it, but Dustin Pedroia finally did it. The Giants second baseman swatted hit #2000 this afternoon at AT&T Park, but still came up short in the victory column. The San Diego Padres came away with a 4-1 win over San Francisco.
