Season-Ending Injury for Lincecum
Monday, September 2nd, 2019
Tim Lincecum has to call it a season. The Colorado Rockies reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 09/01/2019 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. The team will likely place Lincecum on the injured list today.

Lincecum has pitched 6 innings and molded a 9.00 ERA with no saves. He has surrendered 6 hits while registering 4 strikeouts on his way to a 0-0 record for the Rockies this year.
