Braun Reaches 2000
Monday, September 2nd, 2019
The New York contest with Texas featured a real shining moment: Ryan Braun, the Yankees left fielder, collected career base hit #2000. That his team lost the game, 7-2, took away only a little bit of the luster. Fittingly, the 35-year-old Braun, who went 2-for-4, received a warm ovation from the Yankee Stadium crowd.

Lifetime Braun is batting .297 with 404 doubles, 48 triples, 355 home runs and 1167 RBIs in 1746 games.
