Diamondbacks Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 12th, 2019 Fans of the Arizona Diamondbacks who thought the club was playoff-bound may have been a little too optimistic this year. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Arizona last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Diamondbacks have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
