But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Astros today, as they fell, 8-7, to the Oakland Athletics. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Oakland manager Scot Hughes said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Jorge Polanco doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
