AL Votes Rangers Harper Top Player Monday, September 16th, 2019 At the age of 26, Bryce Harper might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Texas right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .476 batting average. For his efforts Harper collected the American League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 6 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 6 games. In the current season, Harper has put up a .276 batting average with 144 hits, 52 home runs, 142 runs batted in and scored 121 runs. |
