Season-Ending Injury for Alvarado Saturday, September 21st, 2019 Clearly dejected, Jose Alvarado left the Kansas City clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining a rotator cuff strain in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the Kansas City reliever's season. To date, Alvarado has collected 18 saves in 63 relief appearances. He has rung up 80 strikeouts and 32 walks in 52 innings while registering a 2.25 ERA and a 2-5 won-lost record. |
