5-Hit Game for Betts Saturday, September 28th, 2019 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit ones are a whole lot rarer. It happened at AT&T Park today when Mookie Betts of Los Angeles scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the San Francisco Giants. He went 5-for-5 in a career performance to help the Dodgers get by the Giants, 7-3. The right fielder was in a talkative and jovial mood after the game, saying his swing "was really, really there today." "I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens, good things happen," he said. "You know, like going 5-for-5. I could get used to days like this." Mookie Betts singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. Thus far this year Betts has hit .261 with 31 home runs and 83 RBIs.
