Almora Hits in 25 Straight Games Sunday, September 29th, 2019 The hot bat of Orioles center fielder Albert Almora continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 2-for-3 in today's 7-0 loss to the Red Sox at Fenway Park. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Albert Almora singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. So far in 2019 Almora is batting .291 with 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and 100 runs scored. He has 197 hits in 676 at-bats and a .334 OBP. |
