September's #1 Rookie Named by AL Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 The Rookie of the Month Award has been announced and the American League winner is Kansas City hurler, Dereck Rodriguez. For his standout performances in September he has been named the league's best rookie. During the month, Rodriguez excelled with a 3.91 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 23 innings he struck out 17 and gave up 20 hits and 4 walks. This year Rodriguez has compiled a 12-11 record with a 4.76 ERA. |
