Christian Yelich Claims AL Batting Title Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 One of the big producers in the Cleveland Indians lineup all season was Christian Yelich. His .327 batting average not only led his team, but also the entire American League. The 27-year-old center fielder for the Indians collected 155 hits on his way to capturing the batting crown. Yelich also scored 104 runs, socked 32 home runs and piled up 90 RBIs. |
