Thrilling Win Pushes New York to Next Round Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 David Price said it was "cold comfort" to be named MVP in a losing effort, with his team ousted from the Wild Card Game. The Philadelphia Phillies player had a standout performance against the New York Mets, but it still wasn't good enough to get the win, as his club fell 4-3 in the contest played at Citizens Bank Park. "It's a sick feeling to get MVP and still not win the game," he said. "It really doesn't ease the pain at all." There was certainly no pain in the New York clubhouse after the game, as the team joyously celebrated its berth in the Division Series. Players hooted and hollered, with bear hugs and high-fives being exchanged, as a World Series victory remained a very real possibility. The New York Mets will play against the Milwaukee Brewers in the next round. Milwaukee had a bye in the Wild Card Game. The Division Series is scheduled to begin on October 3rd, 2019.
