Cleveland Sweeps into the League Championship Series Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 With a 8-6 victory at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Cleveland Indians have completed a sweep of the Los Angeles Angels in the Division Series. "On to the League Championship Series and feeling good," said Jose Ramirez. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit." For the series, Ramirez hit .333 and won series MVP honors. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Cleveland Indians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Baltimore Orioles - Texas Rangers series. Baltimore leads the series 2 games to 0. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 12th, 2019.
