Trouble in Tampa Bay, Gray Suffers Setback Saturday, October 19th, 2019 Tampa Bay received another blow today when doctors revealed that Rays starting pitcher Sonny Gray had suffered a setback in his recovery and will miss additional time because of acute elbow soreness. Gray has been nearing his projected return date, but now that will be pushed back 3 months. Sonny Gray is expected to undergo surgery in St. Petersburg(Florida) tomorrow. In 27 starts this season Gray has crafted a 7-13 record with a 3.67 ERA. |
