Wong on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, April 29th, 2019 24-year-old Kean Wong made a few Frisco headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 14 at-bats to put up a .643 average. Wong collected 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This season Wong has hit at a .404 clip with 10 RBIs, 3 home runs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 15 games. |
